Hi my name is Otis...

From Seattle to San Francisco to Reno to Toronto to Montréal, I have worked with small businesses, non-profits, corporations, local entrepreneurs, musicians, artists, and various individuals from all walks of life - building sites that range from single stand-alone pages to large content management solutions.

In 1996 I created my first website and through the next decade I spent time creating for family, friends and personal use. Fast forward just short of a decade later, recovering from two dot.com layoffs in Seattle, I pushed forward, moved to San Francisco and founded Example7, going completely freelance. Today I work with partners and clients globally from my home office based in Montréal, Québec, Canada.

It all started with my first home computer in 1982 at the age of 13. Almost 30 years later and I still love what I do. The only difference between 1982 and today is that now I earn a living for what I love, opposed to asking my parents to stay up late on a school night to geek out.

A little about my background...

Since 2005 I have developed and worked with over 200 Wordpress powered websites with over 100 using custom themes built from scratch.

I have been working within the wedding industry since 2007 and helped to launch Style Me Pretty in 2007, Ruffled Blog in 2010, and the brand new Intimate Weddings in 2013. Other lovely sites include, Erganic Design & Living, Glamour & Grace, Lavender & Twine Bride, Love & Lavender, Momental Designs, The November Company, Simply Chic Events, Simply Natural Events, Whimsical Wonderland Weddings and dozens of others.

Love, life, health, food, music, art, culture. A few keywords that sum up the type of sites I generally work with.

Food and wine? We can go on an educational initiative (Nourish), read a cookbook (Rebecca Miller Ffrench), take some classes at a culinary event company (The City Kitchen), and have a nice Italian dish (Divino), with a glass of vino (Maybach Family Vineyards).

King, Rick Meyerowitz), musicians (Brute Force, Jean-Jacques Perrey, Beth Sorrentino), and even an island.

Plus my own band website is developed in Wordpress with a custom theme.
